How to Install Android JellyBean On Windows Computer ?
- Download the latest versions of Oracle Virtualbox and Android ISO Image from their official websites.I am providing the links below :
Click here to download android ISO image - After successful download, install the virtualbox in your system.
- Open Virtualbox and click on "New" ,a dialogue box will open asking about the name and operating system. Select "Type" as Linux" and Version as "Other Linux", as shown below :
- Now a next dialogue box will open asking for allocation of memory. The minimum recommended memory is 256 MB but I have allocated 512 MB for the better results.
- In the next dialogue box, You have to create a new virtual hard drive as shown below in the screenshot.
- Select the Hard drive file type as VDI as shown below :-
- Now in the next dialogue box, Choose the dynamic or fixed size partitioning, I have choosen the fixed size disk, as it is more faster, then assign the size of the hardisk. I think minimum size of 1 GB would be enough. but I have choosen a size of 8GB .
- Once the virtual machine has been created , Go to the Settings of virtual machine and click on "Storage". Select the CD/DVD slot and browse for the ISO image of the android OS (Which was downloaded in the first step) .
- Now you are ready to install the android setup inside the virtualbox. Hit "Start" Button in virtualbox to run the Android setup. Select "Install Android - x86 to hardisk" as shown below.
- Next, Choose "Created/Modify partition".
- Click on the "New" and hit Enter.
- Now Select the "primary" and hit Enter. as shown below
- Select the "Bootable" option and hit enter to make the partition bootable, Then select the "Write" option and hit enter.
- Now hit the "Quit" option to move back to the "Choose Partition" screen. Now the partition which you have just created would be visible on the top. Select it and hit enter.
- Select the "ext3" file system and then select it to format the partition.
- Select "yes" to install the system directory as read-write.
- Now you are done with the installation part. Now you can remove the ISO image from the storage, so that the android can be booted up normaly.
