How to Schedule A Meeting in Gmail ?

Step 1 : Login to your gmail account.
Step 2 :  Click on the compose button on the left pane of the screen.
Step 3 :  In the Compose mail editor, hover your cursor over the (+) symbol at the bottom of the editor and then click on the calender icon.

Step 4 :  Fill the details of the meeting when the invitation screen pops up. After filling the details, hit the insert invitation button.

Step 5 :  Now you get returned back to the email editor , with the inserted invitation/meeting details. Once you're done, you can send the mail.

Step 6 : The email recipient will recieve your email with the options of "Yes" , "No" and "May be".
